Описание Reddit labubu
История Labubu (или лабубу в уже привычном нам варианте) началась в 2015 году. На свет эти персонажи появились 10 лет назад, придумал их дизайнер из Гонконга Касинг Лунг для книги TheMonsters. Племен эльфов в его книге было много — Тайкоко, Зиммомо, Спуки, Пато и те самые Лабубу. В обеих версиях были куклы, которые встречались чаще, и те, за которыми открывалась настоящая охота, а потом их перепродавали за суммы, значительно превышающие стартовые. Например, каштановое какао с красным носом из первой серии (все игрушки, выходившие в ней, носили подобные имена: ягоды личи, соевое молоко, морская соль и т. д.). В серии Have a Seat такой игрушкой стала Labubu DuoDuo, необычайная удача для фанатов и коллекционеров.
